Canvas & Cabernet – Alberta Landscape

Hello everyone! This past Tuesday, I ran another Paint Night Out! at the Lacombe Memorial Centre, and it was wonderful!! I need to send out an amazing THANK YOU to all of the wonderful ladies who came out for tonight’s Canvas & Cabernet!! It was such a blast to spend the night painting and drinking wine with you all!! I was blown away by all of the enthusiasm, talent and courage you all had to try something completely new!

A big thank you to my partner and wine-tasting guru, Emily Birtwell, for leading a lovely wine tasting and helping me organize this great fundraiser for the Lacombe Arts Endowment Grant! Thank you Murray from Chateau Wine & Spirits for your generosity and support! And thank you Oodles of Chocolates, a new mother and daughter baking team here in Lacombe, for a delicious sweets tray; and HT Catering for the tasty cheese platter! And of course our volunteers! I love putting together these events, and bringing small businesses together to create a unique creative experience in our community.

Organizing and instructing these classes brings me some so much happiness and joy. Every time I walk out of a class, I am bursting with inspiration. Bringing people together to encourage and celebrate the arts is such a powerful thing, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to to share my passions and do what I love. Thank you thank you thank you everyone!
